Nigel Henderson

Current Role & Vision:
The migration of the Data centre during 2007 was an immense challenge. We have now moved forward with a significant investment in technology to improve our service availability and stability. The exhilarating challenge that lies ahead is the virtualization and cloud computing initiatives that could provide us with some great service and cost reduction innovations. What is most exciting is working with the new Infrastructure management team to enable us to grow this business exponentially.
I see a company in transition from a medium size company to a large international player with significant knowledge in the retail industry and providing expertise both locally & internationally. The Infrastructure business has a great opportunity to grow in supplying our hosting and support services to the retail & retail value chain industries. We will continue to develop products and services to compliment our applications business and ensure we deliver consistent service and market related prices. I hope to continue with UCS to grow and develop the business into a company that cares for its people and customers alike. |
