New Clicks Scoops 3 CRF Leadership Excellence Awards |
| Feb 09 2009 |
New Clicks Holdings has been recognised in three categories in this year’s CRF Leadership Excellence Awards:
The process by which CRF (Corporate Research Foundation) accredits management best practice is carefully crafted with key industry partners, in particular Jonathan Cook of the Gordon Institute of Business Science, the Institute of Directors and Grant Ashfield of Leadership Works, as well CRF International in associate with Deloitte Netherlands.
The CRF research process requires company information on financial, human capital, operational and market management as well as corporate governance to be submitted in their Leadership Benchmark survey.
The judges were tasked with assessing the leaders commitment to principled business management with particular attention to corporate governance compliance (listed or unlisted), the company performance under the leaders ' stewardship i.e. moving into new markets, growth in market share, financial stability, mergers & acquisitions and finally, their opinion of the strength of the style of the leader in executing their duties.
In addition, CRF asked companies to clearly indicate their strides across various key areas for taking SA business into the future such as: Global business, Broad-based black economic empowerment, skills development, CSR and more. These submissions were carefully scrutinised by CRF & GIBS.
CRF found New Clicks to be led and managed with a commitment to continual improvement and critical assessment of high level practices in a transparent manner.
Commenting on his formula for success, David Kneale claims “it is simply to invest in the wellbeing of your people, delight your customers with value plus great service and you will make your shareholders happy.”
